Sketch Released Of Suspect Wanted In Maryland For Shooting A Minor Left In Critical Condition

Police have released a sketch of a suspect accused of critically injuring a minor in a Montgomery County shooting, authorities say.

The suspect allegedly shot a boy in the 18300 block of Lost Knife Circle around 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 16 according to Montgomery County police.

Officers arrived at the scene to find the boy suffering from multiple suspected gunshot wounds, they said. The boy was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.

The suspect is described as a Black man in his 20s with a dark complexion. He is around 5-foot-6 with a "husky" build, according to investigators. 

The suspect wore his hair in dark-colored, chin-length braids or locks that were partially up or loose, they added. Detectives believe he has a tattoo on his bicep, and he was wearing a dark t-shirt, dark shorts, and dark tennis shoes.

This is an active and ongoing investigation.
